Informative Graphics Forms Key Reseller Partnership for
its Innovative Redact-It Technology with Advanced Data Systems,
Inc., the Content Management Solution Leader
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.—Jul 30, 2009—Informative
Graphics Corporation (IGC), a leader in viewing, annotation
and redaction technology, today announced a reseller partnership
agreement with Advanced Data Systems, Inc. (ADS). ADS designs
and implements departmental and enterprise content management
solutions for both commercial business and governmental agencies
and will offer IGC’s entire Redact-It® family of products—Redact-It
Desktop, Redact-It Enterprise and Redact-It for Kofax—to its
customers.
The first ADS customer to apply the redaction solution is a state
government organization which needed an electronic way to remove sensitive
and private information from scanned HR documents. “Redact-It shields
personal identification data and social security numbers,” said Kathy
Will, Sales Manager for Advanced Data Systems, Inc. “Because this
government organization is using Kofax for document capture, Redact-It
for Kofax is a perfect fit for our client’s redaction needs.”
IGC’s Redact-It software dramatically reduces the time it takes to
redact, review and release documents for public access. Ideal for
HR departments, the software can redact social security numbers, addresses,
phone numbers and other information on documents so employees—internal
or external—reading the material can’t access private information.
Redact-It can also remove sensitive information like an applicant’s
name, sex or age to avoid hiring discrimination and identity theft.
“Our current government client using Redact-It handles all of their
HR processes in-house and had previously been manually redacting sensitive
information,” added Will. “ADS plans to present Redact-It to all of
our customers as it will dramatically reduce the time it takes to
redact, review and release documents for public records access, which
saves time and money… a commodity these days.”
Already proven within the legal industry, Redact-It software helps
law firms and legal departments efficiently manage the eDiscovery
process, as well as respond to the public’s requests for information.
Gary Heath, CEO of Informative Graphics, explains that the partnership
with ADS will help drive Redact-It into other industries.
“We’re excited to announce this partnership with ADS, a well-respected
solutions provider for commercial businesses, educational institutions
and governmental agencies,” said Heath. “Working together, we can
offer easy, secure, and affordable redaction solutions to more customers
within more industries.”
