What is Redaction?
Electronic redaction is the removal of sensitive
content from electronic documents for safe, efficient distribution
to courts, the media, customers, vendors or any other audience
not qualified to see the complete content. While it is a simple
procedure, there are common mistakes with very costly
consequences. From the U.S. Military to Facebook, improper
redaction has landed companies and government agencies in a
PR nightmare.
