Informative Graphics’ Announces New Redact-It Document
Redaction Product Line
Server-Based Redaction Software for Regulation Compliance
SCOTTSDALE, Arizona—April 24, 2007 Informative Graphics
Corporation (IGC), a leader in content visualization, secure
publishing and collaboration technology announced the release of
its Redact-It™ Enterprise Server software. Redact-It makes it
easy to remove privacy information like social security numbers,
names, phone numbers and other sensitive data before making
documents available to a wider audience.
Redact-It is a highly scalable redaction server for bulk
processing of document and image files on-demand as part of a
workflow process, by folder monitoring or as a batch process. A
client application is provided for batch and folder monitoring
processing. On-demand and ECM-based integrations are performed
via URL scripting as a web-like service.
“Companies and government agencies now face many regulations
both on information sharing and the protection of personal

paid particular attention to scalability because of the large
number of documents involved, so Redact-It is a real work horse,
capable of processing very heavy loads.”

logical step in our product suite. We already offer one-off
redaction capabilities in our Brava!® products, so this was a
natural extension for us,” Heath added.

- Redact any file format, including PDF, TIFF or any print based
financial report
- Outputs to PDF, TIFF, or Visual Rights® secure CSF
- Use pre-set redaction zones, text search or text pattern scripts
- Add Exemption Codes to redaction areas
- Integrates to file management, document portals, content
management and scanning system
